Regenerative Aesthetic Treatments – Frequently Asked Questions
At Renatus Aesthetics, we specialize in advanced regenerative treatments including EZ Gel, PRP, PRF liquid injectables, and PRP/PRF Microneedling. Below are answers to our most commonly asked questions.

EZ Gel FAQ
What is EZ Gel?
EZ Gel is a 100% natural, regenerative filler created from your own blood using the EZ Gel system. It combines platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) with albumin to form a smooth, injectable gel that restores volume and stimulates collagen production.
How is EZ Gel different from traditional dermal fillers?
Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, EZ Gel contains no synthetic ingredients. It works by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production while providing soft, natural-looking volume.

What areas can EZ Gel treat?
-
Under-eye hollows
-
Fine lines and wrinkles
-
Nasolabial folds
-
Marionette lines
-
Cheeks
-
Crepey skin

How long do results last?
Results typically last 4–6 months, with continued collagen stimulation improving skin quality over time.

Is there downtime?
Mild swelling or bruising may occur for a few days. Most patients return to normal activities within 24–48
hours.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Injectable FAQ
What is PRP?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is derived from your own blood and contains concentrated platelets and growth factors that stimulate healing and collagen production.

What does PRP treat?
-
Under-eye dark circles
-
Fine lines
-
Skin thinning
-
Hair restoration
-
Acne scars

How is PRP prepared?
A small blood draw is performed and processed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets before injection.

When will I see results?
Initial improvements may be visible within a few weeks, with continued improvement over 2–3 months as collagen rebuilds.

How many treatments are needed?
A series of 2–3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended for optimal results.

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) Liquid Injectable FAQ
What is PRF?
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a next-generation regenerative treatment derived from your blood. It contains platelets, white blood cells, fibrin, and stem cells, creating a slower, sustained release of growth factors compared to PRP.

How is PRF different from PRP?
PRF is spun at a lower speed and contains no anticoagulants, allowing for a more natural and longer-lasting regenerative response.

What areas can PRF treat?
-
Under eyes
-
Fine lines
-
Skin laxity
-
Acne scars
-
Overall skin rejuvenation

How long does PRF last?
PRF stimulates collagen for several months. Most patients benefit from a series of treatments.

Is PRF safe?
Yes. Because it is derived entirely from your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is extremely low.

PRP / PRF Microneedling FAQ
What is PRP or PRF Microneedling?
This treatment combines microneedling with PRP or PRF to enhance collagen production and accelerate skin regeneration. It is often referred to as the “vampire facial.”

How does it work?
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin. PRP or PRF is then applied topically and absorbed deeply into the skin, amplifying the healing and rejuvenation process.

What does it improve?
-
Acne scars
-
Fine lines and wrinkles
-
Uneven skin tone
-
Enlarged pores
-
Dull or aging skin

What is downtime?
Expect redness similar to a sunburn for 24–72 hours. Mild flaking may occur.

How many sessions are recommended?
A series of 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart provides the best results.
General Questions
Are these treatments safe?
Yes. Because PRP, PRF, and EZ Gel are created from your own blood, they are biocompatible and considered very safe when performed by a trained medical professional.

Who is a good candidate?
Patients looking for natural, regenerative results without synthetic fillers are excellent candidates.

Can these treatments be combined?
Absolutely. Many patients combine EZ Gel with PRF or microneedling for enhanced rejuvenation.
